Frustrated at racism and the audacity of whiteness? Need to vent but don’t know where or who you can turn to?
Well COAR is here! We call on all anti-racist advocates to Roar with COAR in our monthly discussion group!
In these meetings we will discuss the issues we believe are paramount to address in anti-racist spaces. Roar with COAR will follow a book club format where you are welcome to engage with our resources we have curated in our Anti-Racist Syllabus or you can simply join the conversation on the day.
This learning environment will follow COAR’s principled space guidelines. This is a supportive space that holds people accountable as we learn and grow in our understanding of the monthly topics we will discuss over the year.
Our space is BIPOC-centred, but those outside of the community are welcome to come and listen to the conversation.

We will add the Anti-Racist Syllabus to the discussion tab throughout the month - so click interested or going to stay up to date on the resources we have curated for this month [stack of books emoji]
In the month of FEBRUARY we will be roaring through ANTIRACISM - 101: terms, definitions, and concepts paramount to building anti-racist literacy.
We meet at the Civic Library in Civic Square, London Circuit (out the front of the Canberra Theatre) at 3:50pm so enter the library through the front doors and take the stairs or lift to the Mezzanine Room! This room is accessible via elevators.
Bring yourself and friends along to expand your knowledge on anti-racism and be a part of COAR’s community of passionate individuals coming together to grow in our anti-racist journeys.
